The Radio Station
We are just a little different than the average radio station. We took time to research the market and the listeners in Middleport, Pomeroy and all of Southeast Ohio and Western West Virginia to design and build a radio station that is not only informative and entertaining but a radio station that the people we serve would say is relevant.
Our Format
Rather than play some hits that people love, and know they are going to be constantly looking for their favorite music, at Retro 92.1 we decided to play nothing but the hits... The Greatest Hits. Instead of throwing a format on the air and hoping it becomes a success with listeners, We built the radio station around you, our listeners. Not listeners in Los Angeles or Columbus. We play the Greatest Hits of the 60'S thru the early 80'S

Every time we open the mic...play a song...or even do the news, we ask ourselves "will the people in Middleport, Pomeroy,, Southeast Ohio and western West Virginia care about this?"
Facts
Retro 92.1 offers some of the highest time spent listening in the area. What does that mean? It means that once listeners tune to 92.1 FM, it is more than likely that they will stay on our frequency longer than tuning to another radio station.
Nearly 50% of our listeners are the all important 35 - 55 demo; higher than mainstream
AC, CHR, Country, News/Talk and Oldies formats.
